FARE ALERT

$400s - $600s GREECE! 

This is a sample fare alert - so you can get an idea what you'll get as a member.  This is an update email - letting members know all the best fares to Europe for this week.  We do similar emails for "Best Domestic Flights" as well.  The fares today aren't all the best we've seen, but there are some good $400s - $500s options, with lots of good dates!

Dates are getting slim on several of these (Athens still has quite a few options)!  Corfu dropped off the list with some price increases - and it looks like several others are almost finished. 

You can still get some good deals - if you can find dates that work.  Get them booked fast!!!

Athens still has the most dates available, and is the best city if you want to use it as a hub to explore another area of Europe as well.

The price link will take you to specific date on a "Flight Calendar."  You can scroll through the weeks and months to find dates that work for you.  This allows LOTS of flexibility in finding cheap flights.  Sometimes, you can even find cheaper prices than the ones posted!

It's a good question.  The answer - it varies. But, we can give you the results from May and June.  During those 8 weeks, we sent members fare alerts for sale flights to over 40 countries and 100 cities, on 1090 flights!  For the $1 a week membership - it comes to about 8 tenths of a cent for every sale flight we sent.  Not too bad. 

Booking Flights

Adventure Fares recommends starting your fare search with easy-to-use search engines (like Google Flights) to locate the flight you’re wanting, dates and details.  Then, after finding the flight details, we recommend booking the actual flights direct with the airlines.  We also sometimes use travel services like Momondo.com,  expedia.com,  travelocity.com - and others.  Booking with airlines directly is typically preferable, especially when problems occur (such as flight changes, delays, booking problems, etc).

 1. Reviews - Only units with and established rental record, and the very best reviews make the cut! 

2. Location:  This is the most important thing for travelers.  Only units in the best neighborhoods convenient to the sights make the list.  (rural rentals are exceptions)

3. Value:  We only recommend units that are decent to excellent values for what / where you’re renting. 

4. View:  We keep an eye out for units that have an excellent view!  
That's it.  We screen for great reviews, great locations, great views, and great prices.  This should give you some great options to start with whenever you're planning your next adventure!
