First-Timer’s Tips for Greece

• Consider flying into Athens, then using ferries or short flights to reach the islands.

• Book island lodging early for August and September—these are peak months.

• Some islands (like Crete or Rhodes) are large enough to rent a car and explore.

• Greek hospitality is real—don’t be surprised if you’re offered a complimentary drink or dessert.
