NOTES:  We're starting to see some exciting movement on fares this morning! It looks like Delta is getting a little aggressive on some domestic routes.  We'll keep a constant eye on that and let you know if it progresses more.

There are some enticing new deals to Maine and New Hampshire, some lower prices to Phoenix and LA, and some nice prices to Juneau, Alaska for fall!

We've signed on a lot of new members again this week! We'd like to welcome everybody here.  We're growing fast, and we're getting faster at searching for discounted fares. When the really good ones hit - we're ready.

Most domestic fares have been trending up for several weeks.  We're keeping a close eye on the big airlines, and posting a lot of deals from discount carriers for you.  *Plan for luggage fees when you travel with the discount carriers.

*Trick (when you're booking, look at ONE WAY fares each way just to check).  Sometimes on domestic flights, that can save you 20% or more!    

*Domestic Fares Notes:  We sometimes put fares in here from the “discount carriers:”  JetBlue, Spirit, Allegiant, etc.  We typically advise people to plan for luggage fees (if you don’t pack REALLY light), and try not to use these flights for critical trips (like family weddings).  We’ve taken lots of successful flights with the discount carriers - and have had overwhelmingly good results.  But, when a flight gets cancelled - you’re going to be waiting a full day or more for another one.  That can be a deal breaker on a lot of trips.
