We’ve got a big fare drop to Greece—and this one’s not just for Athens. In addition to the capital, we’re seeing airfare in the $500s–$600s (and some routes in the $400s) to Greek island hotspots including Mykonos, Santorini, Heraklion, Rhodes, and Chania.

• February–March: Early spring brings highs in the 60s°F (15–18°C), blooming landscapes, and smaller crowds.

• June–July: Classic summer. Highs in the 80s–90s°F (27–35°C), packed beaches, and lively energy on every island.

First-Timer’s Tips for Greece

• Consider flying into Athens, then using ferries or short flights to reach the islands.

• Book island lodging early for August and September—these are peak months.

• Some islands (like Crete or Rhodes) are large enough to rent a car and explore.

• Greek hospitality is real—don’t be surprised if you’re offered a complimentary drink or dessert.

• Tap water is fine in Athens, but often bottled water is preferred on smaller islands.
