INTERNATIONAL FARE ALERT!

AZORES, PORTUGAL / DUBLIN, IRELAND / GREECE / PERU / HAWAII / TURKS & CAICOS - MORE!

UPDATES:  AZORES, PORTUGAL / DUBLIN, IRELAND / DALLAS - GREECE / and MORE!

DEPARTURES: ARKANSAS, TEXAS, MISSOURI, KANSAS, OKLAHOMA, TENNESSEE!

AIRLINES: American, United, Finnair, Delta

We found some of these Azores flights last week!  We got a lot of questions - and we're updating some flight changes here.  The Azores are a favorite among Europeans for good reason - charming villages, natural hot springs, volcanoes, whale watching, hiking, cycling, and and an incredible food scene!

We were excited to add departures for the Azores deals:  Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas - all added to the list!

We've also made some updates to dates and prices on the Dublin, Ireland deals as well as the Dallas - Greece fares (with some new dates to look at).

Book those Ireland flights fast (anything to Europe below $600s is rare right now).   Airline prices still seem to be going up steadily - so book fast when you find a date that works!

We've updated a lot of Dallas deals;  some Greece flights from Dallas with great prices in August are hanging in there (with a couple changes)!  Also several others well below normal pricing.  Unlike some other recent deals, most of these were exclusive to our Dallas airports.  We'll keep watching the others for similar deals.

Austin members - we found a few new deals today for you:  Turks & Caicos, Lime, Peru, Kauai
These are broken down by destinations / departure airports.

Book fast - especially on those August Greece flights!

DALLAS TO GREECE FARES  $400s - $500s / MAY, SEP-OCT, and some AUGUST DATES!

$497 Chania, Crete island
$517 Athens (Some August Dates)!
$526 Mykonos
$510 Santorini
$549 Thessaloniki (Some August Dates)!

BOOKING FLIGHTS:   Adventure Fares recommends starting your fare search with easy-to-use search engines (like Google Flights) to locate the flight you’re wanting, dates and details.  Then, after finding the flight details, we usually recommend booking the actual flights direct with the airlines.  We also sometimes use travel services like Momondo.com, expedia.com, travelocity.com - and others.  Booking with airlines directly seems to be preferable, especially when problems occur (such as flight changes, delays, booking problems, etc).

How do we select AirBNBs to recommend?  We generally review and recommend AirBNB rentals on 3 things (may vary some by destination)

1. Reviews - we’ll never recommend a rental that doesn’t have excellent reviews, and doesn’t have enough of a track record to make the list.

2. Location:  We always take a look at “where” the rental is.  While there are certainly excellent units outside the areas we look for in cities - we like to be sure we’re giving you units in the best areas.

3. Value:  We like to look at pricing in an area - and only recommend units that are decent to excellent values for what / where you’re renting.

4. View:  We keep an eye out for units that have an excellent view!  That’s when we’ll venture a little outside our pricing goals - when a place has an incredibly view you’ll want to consider.  Sometimes we might get a little carried away (like when we go through the Santorini list).

So, we won’t ever recommend a place that doesn’t have a fantastic track record of reviews, or is in a bad location - no matter how good the price might seem.  And of the units that have great reviews and locations - we’ll single out those with great value, great views, or hopefully both!

We certainly recommend looking at other rental units (from AirBNB - and we've also had great experiences with VRBO).  We are not paid by AirBNB or any other property entities.  We're just trying to help members sort through the best options.
